ugh, is it one of those mixed nme awards bills things? they normally make me angry :/ who are the other bands? or is it summat completely different?

I just checked the NME site... a number of gigs (as opposed to a load of acts on one night)... not really one to pay attention to them, and a little surprised that they've raised the tone to include her (maybe she's been wearing an "I'm mates with The Strokes, dontcha know" t-shirt?)

anyway, it's sold out (boo). She's headliner, with Love Is All and Brinkman also playing.

fancy a trip to Wolverhampton, Brighton, Oxford, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Sheffield or Bristol?

hahaha, i was just trying to reply to your other (deleted) comment. new trinity is a BEAUTIFL venue, being an old church.Sigur Ros there were almost life changing. it'll be an ace gig. dammnit! what about brighton?

dude, i *told* you not to watch that! erm, i think i vowed to go to bb with a ocuple of people. i doubt i'll get on. even if i did, i don't think D would appreciate me bvggering off for some months! also,the people i'm heading down with are MASSIVE GOTHS so what can i offer??

ah, if I thought there was little chance of her playing here again, I'd probably do it*. Already stung last year, deciding to go to Bristol for The Who, thinking I'd miss them at Oxegen, then ending up spending (big) on the double by attending both!

*she might not, but I'm gonna risk it. I'm hoping she confused the big crowd at Oxegen for fans as opposed to people sheltering from rain!
