it seems i have managed to finish everything i have to do today. so have over an hour to doze / fill you all in on my sad little life.

so yesterday, after overindulging in chicken (good god where is my self restraint when it comes to fried chicken?! i think i need to become vegemetarian for a bit.....) was shockheaded peter. for the second time.

hell, i remembered it was great, but i forgot quite *how* amazingly fantastically great! didn't realise last time that the band characters were not the originals. this time it *was* the tigerlillies performing, whereas before it had been david thomas (?) and two pale boys.

and i never realised just how important these incidentals are. a different musical set up (double bass instead of trumpet, high pitched clarity and OTT-ness instead of low pitched mumbling and listening closely) and the whole show has a completely different feel to it! still fab and marvellous and if you can see it before it closes do so! but the tigerlillies add more insane comicness to the whole thing, and movement and the like, where as DT and two pale boys made it seem more macabre and dark.

i want to go again.

i wonder if the rumoured feature fillum will happen?
