Mar. 5th, 2005 10:17 pmi am having a fantastic! weekend of doing absolutely nothing.
you heard me.
nothing.
no wedding stuff, no boozing, no dancing.
soooo relaxed, feeling heaps better, and it is only saturday!
last night i sat in with the boy, a bottle of red and some (not particularly nice) chinese. teach me to order from a place on the basis i like the name as it sounds like somewhere else - fu lam).
finally get around to watching my birthday pressie from the lovely mr
stephens, the happiness of the katakuris
my, is it genius! Best. Opening. Sequence. Of. A. Film. Ever! Lost it a bit half way through, but if you are a fan of bizarre musicals or japanese weirdness it is a must see.
fell into a lovely soporific red wine slumber.
woke up at 12pm today, the boy having gone into work.
it was a bit early, so i dozed a bit, watched field of dreams on the telly (not half as bad as imagined!) and tidied a wee bit.
that was all a bit strenuous so i had some food and a nice relaxing bath before CSI - New York.
which, i am sorry to say, is as un-engaging as everybody has warned me it would be. ho hum. i am actually quite disappointed with the new series of (proper) Vegas CSI also, it seems to have crossed a little into characature, more like the show of the PC game, than the actual show.
still.
dress nonsense tomorrow, and i may endeavour to actually get up and leave the house and be productive.
(yeah, right!)
(this weekend i have missed stay beautiful and am currently missing punk rock karaoke. i am a little bit sad, but have realised it is quite easy to say this mystical word -
