sir hassle of the hoff......
Aug. 4th, 2004 09:32 amspent a nice evening out yesterday. had some scrummy vegematarian food in a buffet place for cheapish monies, although was slightly disturbed that we were being drugged and fished into a creepy cult. 'country life' off piccadilly circus there. tasty food, watch out for the moonies......
dinner was preceded by tgi friday cocktails. mmmmm ginny goodness.
dinner was followed by cheapy tickets to chigago, which is a fun enough musical i s'pose. it is no saigon or les mis though, is it? i was mostly impressed by the band, seeing as i quite love trad jazz and brass instruments, although their dance routines left a little to be desired, my big band were better at that! yer man hasslehoff was not as bad as i had feared he would be, and was in fact quite entertaining. possibly not in the way he was intending. david hasselhoff is very good at playing david hasselhoff isn't he.
luckily, it seemed the role of billy flynn did not require a large amount of dancing, or much subtle acting.

martylog, you will either be chuffed or distressed to know that at points, it appeared the hass was dancing in a similar way to your good self.....!
twas good to also see the visiting younger watkins, despite her spurning our house for the night. but i have a tidy house, and bright pink pillowcases :D
silly work person has called in to take the morning off as study leave. yeah yeah beeyatch, clearly either you just overslept or are a stupid moo.....

the bloody clack clack clack noise of flipflop on peon heel is enough to drive me to manslaughter. is this completely irrational? does anyone else feel this strongly either way?
i mean, it must be stupidity. i have a lovely pair of flip flops (yeah yeah and norks too innnit) which i can wear out and about quite easily without them making stupid noises on my feet.
