i like karaoke

it is fun. you can booze, sing and show off, all in the guise of entertainment.

i am unaware of who won. i obviously found them unmemorable.

but that isn't the point of it for me. i was never really in the running. but i enjoy singing. in a mic. although i have learnt it is better if the mike is switched on. doh! i also learnt karaoke is not really about the singing. yes.

people all seemed to be doing the same ol' songs they did before repeatedly, but i couldnae be a$$Ed with that. Did Please Please Me. not hugely well.

but noone could beat mine and Rosa's splendiferous version of I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That).

cept mebbe those goffics singing 500 miles ;)

i am today exhausted and minging. that'll teach me. "I only had 3 glasses of wine", I thought this morning. No Melissas, you had 3 *large* glasses of wine. that were frequently topped up from the bottle of booze on the table. doh!
