hah so in the staff room they were talking about weddings and mothers taking over organising.
'fat chance', thought i, 'mine has gone so far as to move to france to avoid it!'
which does bode well for duty free....
this weekend, i have mostly been a very good girl.
which is purely because work is sapping my energy which comletely ruins my free time. bah!
anyway, on friday, i mostly ate stewart lee's sausages (which were very nice) and proceeded to get far too drunk for 5 cans of stella. and had a trippy moment again. man! but there was much comedy to be had, simon amstell and his fisting (and *bits* of new material), yer man lee himself (and yes, it is ok to still fancy him some...), lee mack (who i have not seen before and was impressed with), the actor kevin eldon (fast becoming a fave), peter baynham (YES!!!!), some others, and harry hill.
i try, but i cannot like harry hill. he didn't even have any badgers.
(everyone else was ace. cept the last guy. who i didn't really give a chance. i wanted beer. ooh and the weird dancers. they couldn't dance hugely well, but were wearing very little)
60s retro stylings abounded at 'disco' after, which i left early so as to get on a tube.
ANYONE FANCY A NIGHT OUT AT BLOW UP SOON?
saturday was the wonder of the pixies, who were so good, i bought the company a bag. doh! lived up to all that people have said, and played everything you could have wanted. and more.......
(and more OCD-like, i can now strike them off my list of bands i love but have never seen)
the show aint over til the fatman screams.
(i want to go again!!!!!)
